Greeting
Welcome to the official website of the Education Affairs Section at the Korean Consulate General in Toronto.
The Korean Education Affairs Section has been established by the government of the Republic of Korea as an organization dedicated to supporting Korean-Canadians in the Korean language and culture to maintain and increase their pride in their Korean heritage.
To achieve this, the Korean Education Affairs Section is supporting Korean Language Schools in Ontario and Manitoba; moreover, we have been providing many opportunities for Korean Canadians and other Canadians to study in Korea. In addition, the Korean Education Affairs Section promotes exchanges and cooperation between Korean and Canadian educational institutions.
In 2015, Korea signed a Free Trade Agreement with Canada to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries. Now is the time to revitalize not only the economic but also the educational collaboration between our two countries.
The Korean Education Affairs Section will provide a variety of activities and programs to ensure our children can grow up as global leaders both in Canada and in the Republic of Korea.
We welcome any comments or suggestions to enhance our program further. Thank you for visiting our website and for your continued support and interest in the Korean Education Affairs Section at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto.
Thank you.
