Greeting
Welcome to the official website of the Korean Education Centre in Canada.
The Korean Education Centre in Canada, established and operated by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea, is committed to supporting heritage education within the Korean-Canadian community. The Centre aims to help the next generation develop a strong sense of Korean identity and pride. It also promotes the Korean language and culture while strengthening cooperation with educational institutions across Canada, serving as a bridge for educational exchange between the Republic of Korea and Canada.
The poet William Butler Yeats once stated, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” This reminds us that education extends beyond the transfer of knowledge; it is the process of inspiring and nurturing passion within learners.
The Korean Education Centre in Canada will continue its efforts to promote Korean language education, support Korean community schools, and facilitate study abroad and exchange programs. Through these initiatives, the Centre seeks to inspire both Korean-Canadian youth and Canadian students to engage deeply with Korea’s language and culture, and to grow as global citizens who contribute to stronger connections between Canada and the Republic of Korea.
Thank you for visiting the website of the Korean Education Centre in Canada. I extend my best wishes for your health and happiness, and sincerely appreciate your continued interest and support.
